Fees for Permanent Occupancy
Ordinary Rate
The resident is:
- Independently mobile, with or without aids
- Self-Caring with hygiene
- Mentally independent or with mild forgetfulness
- Able to self-medicate and/or assistance with medication (make available)
- but needs minimal assistance with personal care, i.e. socks, shoes and hair.
Fee from 1 January 2022: £868/week (£124/day)
Intermediate
The resident requires:
- One member of staff to assist with toilet, mobility and washing
- Care for early stages of dementia when the dementia is the cause of needing additional support not covered in other categories
- Some assistance at meal times
- Regular checks throughout the night at pre-determined intervals.
- Supervision with medication.
- Occasional incontinence
Fee from 1 January 2022: £1,010/week (£144.29/day)
Higher
The resident requires:
- Hoisting and/or two members of staff to move and to toilet
- Full physical assistance with eating and drinking
- Care for double incontinence
- Care for significant mental health problems
- Hourly (or more frequent) checks/ attention.
Fee from 1 January 2022: £1,293/week (£184.71/day)
Advanced Care
The resident requires in addition to higher needs:
- One to one supervision to maintain their and others' well-being on a regular basis.
Fee: To be agreed on a case by case basis.
Other
When a couple share a double room allow a 10% reduction on the combined figure.
Short Stays
Short stay fees attract a 30% discount on the full rate as follows:
Ordinary
As for permanent category.
Fee from 1 January 2022: £608/week (£86.86/day) single
Intermediate
As for permanent category.
Fee from 1 January 2022: £707/week (£101/day)
Higher
As for permanent category.
Fee from 1 January 2022: £905/week (£129.29/day)
Day Care
Ordinary
Suits people who are:
Independently mobile and have full mental capacity.
Includes midday meal and morning and afternoon refreshments.
Fee from 1 January 2022: £11.86 for the first two hours then £4.35/hour thereafter
Intermediate
Suits people who require some or all of the following:
- Assistance with mobility and personal hygiene,
- Support for early stages of dementia,
- Some support at meal times, and,
- Supervision with medication.
Includes midday meal and morning and afternoon refreshments.
Fee from 1 January 2021: £23.67 for the first two hours then £6.50/hour thereafter
Higher
Suits people who require some or all of the following:
- One to one support with mobility,
- One to one support for eating and drinking,
- Care for double incontinence,
- One to one support for dementia,
- Assistance with medication.
Includes midday meal and morning and afternoon refreshments.
Note: Only available subject to pre-admission assessment (which can be done in the Home provided that a family member remains with the person). It may also be necessary to ensure care plans are arranged in advanced if complex care needs exist.
Fee: £43 for the first two hours then £16.00/hour thereafter.
